I have always enjoyed the problem solving aspect of art; working together to make a big idea come to life using the materials on hand. I currently teach Kindergarten through fifth grade art in the White Plains School District here in New York. For the last 20+ summers I have been the Head of Fine Arts at Long Lake Camp for the Arts. I have led campers in many art projects over the years, working with students to brainstorm ideas, find materials, and try out construction techniques. While often challenging, the process is always rewarding.
