Talking Lego Emotion Self Portraits

In April, our school welcomed all the students back to in-person learning.  This was a great time to introduce this art project and have students let us know how they are feeling.  Students were asked to think about how being back in school with everyone made them feel.  They then created a self portrait in the style of a Lego minifigure and drew the emotion they felt on the portrait's face.  Once they were done painting their self portrait, students used the ChatterPix app to make their self portraits talk!  Students talked about how they felt about everyone being back in school and why they felt that way.
