Fairy Ring

The fairy in this ring was constructed using HO scale (1:87), model railroad, polystyrene, body parts. This figure was assembled by selecting various body parts, gluing them together and painting the body with acrylics. Tiny wings are created by stamping a wing pattern onto laminated sheets of cellophane and cutting them out. Moss is added to the ring base and the fairy is then adhered to the moss. Finally, the glass dome is sealed on top of the ring.
