Peter Anton Inspired Box of Chocolates

For this Valentine's project, students were introduced to the work of Peter Anton, specifically, his chocolate boxes.  Students experimented with mixing different colors with brown and painted their paper.  After observing a real box of chocolates and the different shapes inside, students drew different shapes onto their painted paper and cut them out.  They then decorated their shapes and glued them to hand cut "wrappers" to make the chocolates.  Next, large hearts were cut out for the "box" and the chocolates glued inside.
