Finale House Remodel
2021
After the Biggest Little Christmas Showdown aired, the production company offered to send us our finale house (Our winning Victorian storybook house was being auctioned for a children's charity). They agreed to send it to the summer camp where I work as Head of Fine Arts, Long Lake Camp for the Arts in Long Lake, NY. Once the crate arrived, the arts campers and I gutted the house, replaced the walls, tore out the fireplace, painted, and created the track lighting. Now every parent's weekend this small gallery sits in our larger gallery of student work, packed with miniature, handmade art.
